Loretta Scott – New Purchasing Manager

We are pleased to introduce Loretta Scott as our new Purchasing Manager.

Loretta is from Toccoa, GA. She graduated from Brenau University and received her degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. After college, she began her employment in various industries. Most of her professional experience is working in purchasing and in operational buyer roles. She was with Nordson Corporation as a Senior Buyer from 1998-2007. Shortly after Nordson, Loretta worked for Siemens Industry Inc. Starting in 2013, she joined Marel-Stork as a Strategic Purchasing Manager where she managed various aspects of sourcing, managed vendors, and supported the operation buyers with their daily buying activities.

In her spare time, Loretta likes to travel, takes part in animal adoption efforts, and spends time with Alzheimer’s patients. One of her hobbies includes working with porcelain moldings that can create customs dolls which is a rare craft today. Loretta has been happily married for over 20 years. When asked a business leader she admires she replied Danny Thomas the founder of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Loretta is excited to learn and grow in her new position, and we are happy to welcome her to Osprey.
